Northern Vermont has several 9 hole golf courses that offer unique golfing opportunities for enthusiasts who appreciate the pure golfing experience. Two notable courses are the Mountain View Country Club and the Kirby Country Club. These golf courses follow the natural contours of the land--and that can make for some serious challenge to interest even the most seasoned golfers.
Mountain View Country Club: Established in 1898, this semi-private golf course is the oldest nine-holer in the state.
Membership is required for full privileges, but Visitors can enjoy this course as well if they pay attention to the schedule. Throughout the year, weekends are reserved for members only,
and during the peak months of July and August, Visitors are welcome to play on weekdays after 1 pm. During May, June, September after Labor Day and October, Visitors can golf on weekdays with no time restrictions.

Kirby Country Club: This 570 acre country club in Kirby, VT is only a few years old and is impeccably maintained. Located on Route 2 an easy drive east of St. Johnsbury, this golf course has lovely views. Public. Cart rental available. Tel: 802-748-9200
